Trust Premises Lead

With a long history in retail and estates management, Richard joined the Trust in 2017 as Trust Premises Lead. Since his appointment, Richard has overseen extensive refurbishment of buildings across the Trust through numerous successful CIF bids and effective use of Trust capital funds.

Responsible for planning and procuring all statutory servicing and testing as well as preventative and reactive maintenance through the use of in house and appointed contactors, Richard is also a leader of the Trust Health & Safety committee. With the extension of two 1FE to 2FE entry schools and construction of an entirely new school, Richard has considerable experience with liaising with Kent County Council and building project managers.
