Remote Learning

If your child has to self-isolate at home because their bubble has been required to self-isolate, your child will be using Microsoft Teams to continue their learning remotely.

Using Teams, children will be able to:

  • Take part in live online lessons with their teacher and classmates.
  • Hand in work that the class teacher has set.
  • Receive written feedback from the class teacher.

Please use the Teams Knowledge Base for help on how to use Teams.

Home Learning

If your child has to self-isolate at home whilst their bubble remains at school, you can make use of our extensive list of home learning resources.

We recommend using the DfE led, Oak National Academy Online Classroom which has video lessons and downloadable activities everyday.

Oak National Academy

The sector-led Oak National Academy has launched its online classroom and resource hub. The Academy offers 180 video lessons each week for schools to use, across a broad range of subjects. The lessons cover children in Reception through to Year 10 and are free to use by both teachers and young people.
