Water Meadows Primary School participated in the live event “Strictly Fitness: Gethin Keeps Dancing for Red Nose Day” live on BBC One. The event took place on Friday, March 17, and featured Morning Live host Gethin Jones dancing non-stop for 24 hours to raise funds for Comic Relief.
The challenge, which was broadcast live from the Morning Live Studio and streamed on BBC iPlayer, saw Gethin Jones supersize the daily dose of dance-inspired exercise, Strictly Fitness, by taking the regular one-minute routines to a whole new level. The students of Water Meadows Primary School were thrilled to join Gethin in his mission and showcase their dance moves to the nation live on BBC One.
Water Meadows Primary School has set a fundraising goal of £250 for Comic Relief and encourages everyone to support the cause by visiting their JustGiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/water-meadows-primary-school2
