With children remaining at home during the school’s two week ‘circuit breaker’, Thistle Hill Academy have pledged to provide all children in receipt of free school meals with a weekly food hamper.
The school has put together a team of staff and volunteers who are going to be delivering the hampers straight to the front door of over 100 children on the Isle of Sheppey.

The aim of the temporary closure or ‘circuit-breaker’ is to bring down the number of cases affecting the school community, allowing it to re-open fully staffed and with all year group bubbles on site on Monday 30th November.
