The Stour Academy Trust have created an animated video explaining the importance of having good attendance at school.
Did you know that although an attendance percentage of 90% doesn’t sound that significant, it is the equivalent of 3 weeks and 4 days of learning missed?

The animation’s creator, Rob Butterworth said:
“As a Trust with over 1,000 pupils, our schools do all that they can to encourage excellent attendance. We wanted to add to the number of successful strategies with something a bit different! Video is such a powerful tool for getting a message out there and we hope that it highlights to parents how important attendance really is.”
