The Stour Academy Trust began a new academic year in style with a Staff Development Day at The Spitfire Ground, Canterbury.
The first in-person meeting of teachers from every school in the Trust since the pandemic, over 150 teaching staff gathered to collaborate, laugh together and network.
Instead of overloading staff with new training, the focus instead was to motivate, celebrate and reflect with staff to look forward to a new academic year.
The day ended with a motivational talk from UK Ambassador for happiness, Action Jackson, who reminded us that we should be proud of what we accomplish every day and that we can really make a difference to our children’s lives.
