As the new academic year gets underway, reception classes across The Stour Academy Trust are settling in well into their new school life.

Children at Sturry CE Primary School tried their best and joined in with some new physical activities outside.
At Richmond Primary School in Sheerness, Wrens and Robins classes have swiftly adapted to the rhythms of school life, embracing classroom routines such as lining up and tidying up. Meanwhile, at Sturry CE Primary School, Hedgehogs class have been diving deep into ‘Perseverance and Participation’, discussing their talents and learning about personalities who’ve showcased perseverance.
Lansdowne Primary School’s Caterpillars and Butterflies have been making the most of their initial school days. While the Caterpillars revelled in the sunshine, the Butterflies explored their classroom and made the delightful acquaintance of a worry monster! The atmosphere was similarly vibrant at Thistle Hill Academy in Minster, where the Caterpillars and Ladybirds classes had an exceptional first day, immersing themselves in play activities and fostering new friendships.

Chilmington Green Primary School’s reception classes have also been a hub of activity. Exploration and bonding were the themes of their week, as children acquainted themselves with both their indoor and outdoor surroundings.
